The Iconic Home, a first-of-its-kind partnership between Architectural Digest and the Black Inside Designers Community, formally opens its door this week. The architectural design of the house, envisioned as a modernist retreat in upstate New York, was conceptualized by Samantha Josaphat and Luis Medina of STUDIO 397 Structure, who prioritized indoor-outdoor dwelling and the house’s pure environment, that are highlighted by means of the residence’s many vistas.
Fifteen interior design firms fitted out the interiors, with each room from the storage and laundry room to the kitchen and lounge absolutely remodeled into inspiring, immersive areas that includes merchandise from established manufacturers and rising makers alike. Elaine Griffin’s Entryway and Powder Room
Griffin created her entryway and powder room in homage to the late hip-hop govt Andre Harrell.
